After the Imperial defeat at the Battle of Endor, Moff Gideon was able to maintain his position of power and prestige with an impressive remnant of Imperial forces. This force includes elite death troopers as well as rank-and-file stormtroopers. In addition to his command over an impressive array of Imperial troops, Gideon wields the Darksaber, an ancient, black-bladed lightsaber considered sacred by Mandalorians. Armed with this blade and his formidable strategic mind, Gideon represents a dangerous threat to any who would impede his plans.
